Vasari Country Club in Bonita Springs, FL, is excited to announce the groundbreaking of their $6.1 million Renaissance Project. The Renaissance Project will consist of expansive additions to the upper and lower levels of the clubhouse, including an outdoor covered dining area that will showcase Vasari’s resort-style amenities.
The Club’s upstairs Grill and Bar Room will be expanded to approximately 2,500 square feet, which will include 43 more seats. The expansion will feature a large oval bar with multiple TVs. Expanding the dining also means expanding the kitchen. An expansion of 1,000 square feet will be added to our upstairs kitchen, which will enable the staff to elevate the member experience during lunch and dinner services.
The new focal point for the Club’s lower level will be the creation of the Piazza. The Piazza will include a 3,750 square foot kitchen, covered outdoor bar, and dining with resort-style space for casual eating. This space will be the main attraction for golfers, tennis players, and bocce players, who want to enjoy a cool refreshment or dining during and after activities.
To create the Piazza, the Golf Shop will be relocated to a new 1,800 square foot building in front of the existing Fitness Center. The newly expanded Golf Shop will provide an improved layout to serve our Members better. We will now have space that will include office and meeting space for the golf professionals and necessary storage for the increasing retail store.
The groundbreaking will take place on Tuesday, March 3, at 9:00 a.m., where the new Golf Shop will go. Media personnel are invited and encouraged to attend.
Members of the Vasari Board of Directors, Construction Committee, GATES Construction, Chambers, and Vasari General Manager, Steve Malvinni, will place a shovel in the ground to begin the first clubhouse renovation since the Club’s grand opening in 2004.
Renovations are expected to be completed by the end of December 2020.
